Tom holds a Master's degree in Counseling and has extensive experience in addressing issues such as domestic violence and trauma through his work with the YWCA and various organizations in Edmonton. Tom’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and self-esteem.

Tom believes in a collaborative process where you and him will work together to identify your goals and discover what brings meaning and purpose to your life. Tom’s methods combine person-centered and solution-focused techniques, aiming to foster a deep understanding and acceptance of your experiences with compassion, empathy, and without judgment. Tom tailors a diverse range of methods to meet the individual needs of each person in therapy.

Tom is proficient in utilizing therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and others. Additionally, Tom has worked with the LGBTQ2SlA+ community and have a keen interest in addressing young adolescents and men's mental health concerns!
